Fortunately no one had to go with out sugar. Ye Olde Towne had a magic Striped Box!

All you had to do was ask, and whatever you wanted magically appeared!

I would love to go anywhere and ask for anything I want.

I would love to go to a Kosher Deli and ask for a Swiss Cheese and Corned Beef on Rye. Sure a Non-Kosher Deli will serve me a Swiss Cheese and Corned Beef on Rye, but Kosher Deli's have the best Corned Beef, and the best Rye. Why shouldn't they serve me what I want?

I'm with those guys that are fighting that Christian Bakery. I understand where they're coming from completely.

Now Ye Olde Ones were not dumb, nor were they greedy. This box had been given to them a long time ago by a magicians assistant named LoLo. They couldn't open the box, so they didn't know how it worked. Not knowing how it worked meant they were concerned that the boxes' energy might run out and with it the treats. So they were cautious and prudent about making it give them what they wanted.

Ye Olde Ones also wanted to be cautious, because the Regulators thought the Striped Box was a toy. Ye Olde Ones didn't want the Regulators to take it away and ruin it's great power, so the Striped Box was kept in a locked box and Judge Julious kept the key.

A whole month went by in Olde Towne while the girls played. War and rumours of War filtered through Olde Townes gossip mill. The girls themselves lacked mindful attention to it. They helped a a friend take care of a sick cat. For them, the month continued each day as if warped by space and time.

Spring was coming to Olde Towne, and after a cruel hard winter it was welcomed!

Because Spring was on its way there was much rejoicing, but there was sorrow too. It was a cruel winter this year and took many citizens. Tiggy-Tie the cat was still sick, and would not heal. A friend of Evers sent him a gift, and Evers came back to Olde Towne to see if it would help the kitty. All they could do now was wait.

Meanwhile in Regulator Land and Corland, things were getting out of control. Don't get me wrong, the Regulators and Cors' for the lessor part, had always cheated and stolen, but now it was the greater part, and no one bothered to hide it anymore. Their government too had become corrupt. Everyone was grabbing for the money. It was a sorry sight.

While the Regulators and Corland were bleeding Ye Olde Towne dry of money and life, and Ye Olde Ones' housekeepers were worrying if they could afford to buy ketchup this week, crooks from New York preyed on the good customers of Windows. It was becoming a terrible time.
