Once apon a time, before there was a New World, or a New Church, before any one had really heard about CrackerCandyLand or had ventured into the Artful Forrest, there was Corland, and Regulator Land and The Old Church. Intellyland was basically a research lab for Corland, once Corland figured out how much money could be made from their inventions and hypotheses and Ye Olde Towne's inhabitants supplied all the taxes and food that Regulator Land had grown to depend on. The Outlaws in Old Mechanicsville wouldn't work for Corland or the Regulators, and were hard to squeeze for taxes. They dressed funny and kept to themselves, so everyone pretty much left them alone, though they still had ties to the Old Church. The Regulators ran the Old Church. The Nephlim and Warland we'll talk about later. There's plenty of time for that.

Once apon a time Sally wondered what had happened to the "Brave New World" that every one had been told was coming.
